Dr. Mirza Ahmed
Dr. Mirza Ahmed has been practicing clinical, invasive and interventional cardiology since 1996. He was the co-director of the first cardiology-owned Nuclear Medicine lab in Middle Georgia and was the first nuclear medical facility accredited. Dr. Ahmed completed his fellowship training at Northwestern University and additional interventional cardiology training at the University of Louisville. He also did two years of clinical research at Northwestern. Dr. Ahmed has privileges at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Coliseum Healthcare System and Oconee Regional Medical Center.
He is married with two sons and resides in Macon.
Dr. Mueez Ahmed
Dr. Mueez Ahmed has been practicing in Macon with Georgia Cardiology Center since July, 2006. After two years of training at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, UK, he completed his cardiology fellowship at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, PA in June 2006 with training in interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular carotid interventions, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
He has privileges at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Coliseum Healthcare System, Houston Medical Center and Perry Hospital.
Married with 3 children, he resides in Macon.
Dr. Syed M. Karim
Dr. Syed M. Karim has been practicing in the Middle Georgia area with Georgia Cardiology Center since September 2009. Dr. Karim is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and Echocardiography.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Coronary Angiography and Intervention Biophysical Society.
He has privileges at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Coliseum Healthcare System, Houston Medical and Perry Hospital.
He is married with 3 children and resides in Houston County.
